Putting products in a certain order on a page

When I use this short code:
‘[products ids=”898,1175,418,643,934,1117,384,772,”]’
Shouldn’t the products be displayed in the order I typed them in? On some pages this is true but on others it seems to pick and choose an order.
Any thoughts?
