Putting plugin on latest posts frontpage

  • Hello this is the website I am designing using Minamaze Theme:

    I show the latest Posts on my frontpage, additionally I wanna show some audio player plugin, but since the front-page is not connected to any site I dont know where and how to put the shortcode for the plugin.

    I tried already modifiing the front-page.php, index.php, home.php and post.php. I used this code:
    echo do_shortcode( '[shortcode]' );
    but no matter where I put it, it did never show up.

    Please help me out there,
