Putting a messy category into a different database table?

  • Yo, lets say ive got categories, withc permanent posts in it…

    Post number will go like… 605..606… etc…

    Post frequency is about 1-2 per day…

    Now ive got an other category, which requires a LOT OF temporal posts (at least 100 a weak). Can i put it into an other database somehow?

    I delete these posts to spare resources, these are events, they arent necessary after a month or so. Or should i go witha route like making archives of years?? how can i do that? Put the whole wordpress into a past year folder and creating a new clean?

    Can anybopdy suggest me solutions thinking about long-time heavy use? Any advice would be appreciated.
