• Someone wants to charge me $1500 to put
WordPress blog on my old non-WordPress site. Does this sound reasonable? s there a way I can do this fairly easily? Thanks!

  • Could you please clarify what you mean by “put WordPress blog on [your] old non-Wordpress site”?

Do you mean installing WordPress CMS on your host? Do you mean exporting your WordPress blog posts and importing them into another blogging service? Or perhaps you’re asking something else?

I have a site that’s at least 10 years old and am considering having it redone in WordPress. I was just wondering ,if I keep my old site, how would I add a fully functional WordPress blog to the site. I guess I am talking about installing WordPress CMS on my host. My site:
https://www.medicalweightlosscenter.com. I’m not very sophiscated in coding, so how much should this reasonably cost if I need help. I hope that answers your questions.

@drgreen: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a question of your own and it causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers. Please post your own topic.

    I believe @drgreen IS the OP … ??

@drgreen – you could install WP to run as a blog aside your existing site – like site.com/blog

Or you can replace your site with WP, even paying someone to do it.

We won’t give any cost estimates on this site. What you want isn’t terribly difficult – depending on how much content you have, how much custmization you need off of basic WP, etc.

Just adding wordpress alongside your existing site would literally take about 5 minutes, and it would be a fully functioning WP blog/CMS – the customization you need is where the challenge come in

    Oops – my bad! ??
