Puting Full content Posts up on a static page (NOT JUST LINKS)

    I’ve searched for a thread that already talk about this, but none of them highlight how to get posts up on a static page with full content. I’ve already used the [get_posts] html, but all it shows is links. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can consistently show my 5 most recent posts with full content on my static homepage? I’m very new to web design, and am really struggling.
