Put text where slider would have been

    my site https://saveongolf.net , I would like to add some text ABOVE the 3 images there now. (where the slider would go if I were using one. However when I edit the page and add text it appear below these 3 image links. Is there a way to have the text appear above them?

    On a side note, the hover over image action where the image expands no longer works on those 3 images. Not a big deal because I’m using images on a white background so it’s hard to notice anyway, but don’t know how that got fouled up.

    About the “no expansion” issue, could be a plug-in problem, also “back on top” doesn’t work correctly.
    Also you’re page has a javascript error, and that might cause side effects (?)

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'addClass' of undefined 

                    //displays reordered slides
                    o[0].addClass('active');

    For now, since you don’t use slides, comment that script, and see what happens.

    I’m not great at this, so I hope you don’t mind me clarifying what you are telling me to do above: You think the code I added to randomize the slider might be causing the issue with the problem with the image links not responding? (growing on hover)

    Did you mean remove that script?

    I don’t know if that is THE cause.
    For sure it’s something you don’t need. since you don’t use the slider, and it gives an error ( by the way, if you copied that snippet entirely that script there shouldn’t be, ’cause when you don’t have slider [slider not active] that function should return without printing the script ).
    So remove it.

    If the problem persists, proceed disabling plug-ins.

    And what about the page content before featured pages?
