• Hey I am using 2 Feeds of different pages.
How can I put the lastest news to top?

    Right now it’s like this:

    [feedbook-page-1]
    [feedbook-page-2]

but Page 2 news is newer than Page 1… So how can I put it to top?

    Thanks!

  • Hey altos,

Just reverse the order of the feeds by placing the Page 2 on the page first like this:

    [feedbook-page-2]
    [feedbook-page-1]

    Hey David,

thanks but what happens when page 1 has later newer news than page 2?
I want to be it “automatic”, depending on which news is newer. You get the idea? ??

    Thanks,

    Hey Altos,

Yup! Now I understand. You want the plugin to check all the post dates in both Feed #1 and then Feed #2. Then depending on which feed has the most recent post by date then you want that feed to adjust to be the first feed to appear on the page with the other one following no matter which feed (#1 or #2) that it ends up being.

This isn’t really possible in the Free version and in the Pro version the only way to do it would be to use a JavaScript snippet to check the date/time on each post and then switch the feed order on the page. However since you are trying to adjust page code and the positioning of elements on a page and not actually adjusting the feed’s code it may be beyond the scope of our normal plugin’s technical support I’m afraid but we could offer you some high level direction.

Just to clarify, this is possible in the Pro version without using JavaScript. But to do it in the free version you’d need to use JavaScript to reorder the feeds based on the date of the latest post.

    Hey altos,

If you send us a quick message via the Support form on our website then I can send you directions. We’re not supposed to provide support for paid plugins on here as the moderators only allow us to use this forum for free plugins. If you send us a message using the support form and include a link to this thread then I can help you with setting it up as you described.

    Many thanks!

    Hey altos,

I just wanted to follow up to see whether you were able to contact us via the support form on our website. I checked our support system but didn’t see anything from you yet so just wanted to check in to see whether you’d sent one.

Many thanks, and I hope you’re having a great Friday!

    John
