    Hi Sagdude,

I’m looking at your issue – did you place the icons via the shortcode? Then they should appear where you want them to appear. If you have problems placing them, could you please ask a developer (who may know how your specific template works)?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,

    John

    Hi John,
I placed the icons as a widget in the sidebar. I tried to use the shortcode but ran into issues. I can check with the theme developer but the more I think about it, the more I’m okay with leaving the icons where they are. I appreciate your response. If you do arrive at a solution, please let me know. Thanks much!

Social Dude…. First.. The best plugin ever for social share… Kudos!!! next, I’m trying to get the icons on the header but I’m not quite sure how to get it done. Last night I was able to find a syntax (which now I Can’t find it) and It didn’t work. is it possible to get the syntax (shortcode) to be added to the header.php file?

    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi guys,

It might be a bit late and you probably found the solution but if not here it what I would do:

There is a function in wordpress to do shortcodes in the php files do a shortcode

    So it looks like:

    <?php echo do_shortcode( '[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]' ) ?>

    I hope this helps

    Hey there,

    Super grateful for this thread!

I managed to get the social media icons to be located in the top right corner…

    however…

I need to adjust the spacing so that they fit neatly under the “search site” box.

    The site is: https://www.thriveintegratedhealth.com/about-us/

I’m a newbie to CSS but whatever I tried, it did not work.

Any help is so greatly appreciated!

And to the developers of this fab plugin, I feel it would be super helpful if this option (top right corner, etc.) was made available within the plugin itself — just a suggestion.

    Thank you!

@gurpreetgill Thanks Gurpreet. So the issue is the overlapping with the search box, right? If you place them manually, then it’s a template issue and it’s better if you ask the template creator about it or somebody with CSS knowledge. However, if you have them floating then you can define where they appear, i.e. margins from the top. Would that do?
