• Hi all,

I’ve googled and had a look around on here but wanted to ask if the following is possible.

I’ve got my blog setup and wanted to know if it was possible to write blog posts and have them published on a different page. I’ve just created a new page and noticed that the layout appears to be like a single blog post and there doesn’t appear to be any way to write/move posts on it.

Apologies if the above doesn’t make much sense. If it doesn’t I’ll try and re-write it.

I’ve tried a variety of plugins and they all seem to do the same thing, display a blank page. The one I’m trying at the moment is Category Page

Since I wanted everyones posts to be available on individual “pages”, I created categories for each author and simply have the category widget displayed in the sidebar. For our needs this solved the problem, but requires each post to be added to their category and I find that I have to go back and add it for them. Then again, I haven’t spoken to them about it yet, which is my own fault. Anyways, It works nicely when you have few categories. Check it out here

You, probably, missed the possibility to display an author’s posts on their own page:
    example.com/?author=X
    where X is the author’s ID#.
