• Just an FYI, it seems PuSHPress is conflicting with the Blubrry PowerPress plugin.

When I publish a post the Podcast Episode information gets stripped out. The posdcast info stays intact when the post is saved as draft. But disappears when the publish button is clicked.

I disabled all of my plugins and reactivated them one-by-one to find that PuSHPress is the one causing the behavior.

My site is running WordPress 4.1, Blubrry PowerPress 6.0, and had the issue with PuSHPress 0.1.7.2

I have disabled PuSHPress for now and everything else appears to be working.

For some reason PuSHPress also started causing my media library to not display images in the grid view and also in the post Add Media area. List view in the media library worked though.

The plugin was disrupting my media library even though it was deactivated. I had to delete it from my install to get my media library working again.

Whoah… I just resolved this on two high visibility podcast sites that were crippled. Podcasters could not post their shows. Then I found this post after resolving the issue.

PushPress KILLS PowerPress. DO NOT install both PushPress 0.1.7.2 along with PowerPress 6.0 or 6.01.

If you have to use PowerPress, disable PushPress.

If you absolutely need to run PushPress along PowerPress, here is the workaround:

-The Podcast Episode will change to the first URL to an MP3 file that is put into the article. If you post a Youtube URL with Add Media/from URL, the Pocast episode will disappear.
If you embed a Youtube video, for example, the MP3 link to podcast episode MUST be posted in the article, BEFORE the Youtube embed, and all other media URLs in article.

Also, PubSubHubbub plugin slows down sites when publishing articles. Takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to publish an article.

So far on WordPress, PushPress and PubSubHubbub have been failures, and consequently, so is the PubSubHubbub protocol.
