PUSH NOTIFICATION NOT WORKING

  • Hello,

    I installed the Androapp plugin and everything works great except one.

    I run a question and answer website like StackOverflow. Now, when I publish a regular WordPress post, push notification to the mobile app works. But when a new question is published, push notification doesn’t work. And when I trigger the push notification manually from the push notification tab, it works.

    How can I get it to work automatically?

    To have an option where one can select the post types push notification would be triggered for would have been great. Just to mention, most notification plugins have this feature. Here, all post types (WordPress customary post types and other post types as a result of plugins) are listed so one can select the post types to be considered by the plugin being configured.

    While you analyze the above suggestion, pls assist to advice on how to make push notification work for other post types.

    2. With regards to your problem, why not use the “other” notification plugins?

    @vigwe we understood the problem, it is with custom post types, we will add the support to enable push notifications for custom post types soon.
