Hi, i have searched it on forum but could not find that i look for a plug in or features on woocommerce that sends push notifications for order status changes. Thanks

I need this information for a website I’m creating for a client with a pizzeria: I need to activate a push notification that informs the user of the order confirmation. The dynamics would be like this: the user orders the pizza and pays. a pop up notifies him of the order being processed. the pizzeria confirms the order manually and the user gets the push notification confirming the order and the delivery time even if he closed the website. is this configuration possible?

thank you very much for your availability!`

  • Hello there,

I understand you would like to push notifications to keep your customers updated about orders.

There is an extension that might help you out, Twilio SMS Notifications:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/twilio-sms-notifications/

It sends SMS updates to your customers when there is an order update.

For any pre-sales questions, you can ask them here (Of course, creating an account before):
    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

Also, you can check the WooCommerce Customizations Page if you need further assistance:
    https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

    Best.

Good morning, i ve to explain better what i need..I am creating a site for a pizzeria and I need to know if it is possible to send a custom push notification to a specific user. This is so that when the user proceeds with the order I can inform him via push notification of the acceptance of his order or the change of delivery time…

I need that from the back end of woocommerce, or from the back end of wordpress, I have the ability to send a custom notification.

And if this notification is mobile frendly.

    Thanks for your availability

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

I see you have already reached out to PushAlert – that would be my suggestion too, but I’m not sure if it will work for your goals or if such a plugin exists.

I’m going to leave this topic open for a bit to see if anyone from the community is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    Hope this helps!

Seems we’ve not had additional inputs on this thread. Thus, we encourage you to make use of the above resources.

I’ll go ahead and mark the thread as resolved but please feel free to create a new thread if you have further questions.
