Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if you could push the content down like on some other pop up solutions when you’re using something like a full width bar at the top of the site. I find that ordinarily it will cover my menu which isn’t ideal.

Hi @qwik3r – Please be advised that you can adjust the Position of the Popup if it does cover the menu on your website.

Simply go to Popup Settings > Display > Position. From there, you can now adjust the point inside the browser window to anchor the popup container. Hope this helps.

For more details, I would suggest checking out this documentation about ‘Display’ options settings.

If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to email us back here.

    Thanks!

I’m not sure that answers the question. You do understand what I mean though correct? There are some ways to push the content down so the popup takes space above all the content, rather than above it. It sounds like what you’re suggesting is to just move the pop up so it doesn’t obscure the menu, which if it’s at the top, there isn’t much of a space to move it — unless you mean you can create a negative margin or something and then it will push it down.

Edit: I checked all the settings and there does not appear to be anything that will push the entire page content down. Real shame since your competitors have this option and it wouldn’t be that difficult to implement for the top bar option.

    Hello @qwik3r,

One characteristic of popups is they display over (higher on the z-axis) normal content.

However, Popup Maker provides a JavaScript API that can help you extend or customize popups to behave differently.

Here’s an example of using the API to push the content down when a fixed-height and fixed-position popup displays.

We hope that helps. Let us know if you need anything else.

    Have a great day ??

Yes I’m aware of what a pop up does… but you also have a ‘banner’ style pop up. In those cases it SHOULD push the content down, especially if it’s pinned to the top of the page and thus can obscure important things. I shouldn’t have to use your javascript api to extend a functionality that 99% of you rother competitors have realized should be done. Would it really be that difficult to implement this as opposed to putting the onus on us to do it?

Disregard this response. I had issue implementing the code but it’s working now.
