Push Content

Possibly a naive question but struggling to find a solution. I want to have one area of my wordpress site that pushes content automatically. I maintain a financial trading website and updates need to go out instantaneously and not require the reader to refresh the screen. I want to have one post that is “sticky” and continually updates. Anyone have any recommendations on how to do this?
