    Hi support team,

First thank you for developing and maintaining this great plugin!
I noticed that on every page I have enabled commenting the following session cookie is being stored: wordpress_last_visit.

What is the purpose of this cookie and is there a way to totally disable this cookie for the visiters of my website?

Thanks in advance for your time.

    Marco

    Hi @marco020,

We use this cookie to allow users to see the unread comments.
We’ll add a new option, that will allow to disable it in next version release. Please wait for the next update.

    Hi support team,

Since today’s update to 5.3.0 I notice wpDiscuz generates three cookies instead of only one (wordpress_last_visit) before the update:

    PHPSESSID
    wordpress_last_visit
    wpdiscuz_last_visit

Where can I find the setting to disable these three cookies?

    Hi @marco020,

Please refresh the page before checking. We’ve just tested on your website and there is neither wordpress_last_visit nor wpdiscuz_last_visit cookies. See screenshot:

We’re using default PHP – PHPSESSID cookie to provide high speed of wpDiscuz.

I just replied by e-mail because I wanted to share a screenshot of the two cookies Chrome is still showing with you.
