Purple Abstraction fatal error.

  • This is a Fantastico instalation, we have uploaded the Purple Abstraction Theme and when you click on “comments” you get this message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: smilies_clickable() in /home/*******/public_html/agnesfiles/wp-content/themes/PurpleButterfly/comments.php on line 83

    Sugestions to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  • Looks like that theme probably includes some wonky stuff by default….

    So check line 83 and if it relates to something called “smilies_clikable()”, comment out the line using <!-- at the beginning of the line and --> at the end of the line to see if it fixes the problem.
