    Hi,

Instead of Purge All, is it possible to purge only modified content? I am aware of the auto purge options but they purge all cache based on the trigger. I am aware of URL based purge but it’s not possible in this case.

I have lot of content on the site and I update daily. The result is that LSCache is getting purged before it can index everything. And lot of content is served without caching.

    Regards

    Hi,

By default , when you update a page , all related page (like category this page belongs to) will also be purged , that was by design.

I am aware of URL based purge but it’s not possible in this case.

What do you mean by not possible in this case ?

    Hi,

So I am modifying around 1000+ URLs everyday and they are linked to more URLs (tax archives) and I don’t have those ones.

So it would be not possible to list all the URLs to purge.

    Hi,

OK , let me get this right :

    1. you edit a content of a lot of pages, on daily basis.

    2. you only want to this edited page to be purged, but you don’t want its related page, like its parent category page to be purged

    Is this correct ?

No I want the tax archives to be purged but I don’t have the URLs to add to the list.
All modified pages including the tax archives to be purged.

The taxonomy terms in the posts have archives, which need to be purged as well.

    For example – https://www.flixwatch.co/movies/freaks-youre-one-of-us/
The Actors and Director have archive pages

    Hi,

OK , please go to Cache -> Purge –> Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update –> uncheck all and only check “Term archive (include category, tag, and tax)”

then purge all , and see if it works in the way you want.

    Hi,

Please keep in mind , that previous cached page will still have all these options’ tag , only new page generated after you change setting and purged , will only got its own tag and tax arch tag.

    Hi,

I am not sure what do you want to do with last modified date , like scan the database and purge the ones that is modified today ?

my way should work as you stated.

but if you want to use other way , you can use purge API to do it
