    Hi!

    Loving this plugin!

The plugin seems to do a cache purge whenever it’s own settings are saved.

I think this should have its own toggle/option in the settings page, as this isn’t always an assumed or desirable behaviour IMHO.

Or, even better, certain plugins (inc. this one) could be excludable from the “_____settings_save_after” hook?!

    Hey @harryfear

Mmm, I can certainly take it into consideration. The reasoning behind the cache purge on settings save was for the heavier cached sites that also cache wp-admin. Sometimes the settings do not apply once changed.

Having it’s own setting is certainly something to consider… maybe default it to ON…

Going to close this, and put it on my To Do list… the more I think about the more I like the idea ??

    Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the slow reply! Thanks for explaining!

Very interesting to hear that some sites cache wp-admin, as I was not aware of that.

I see there is a WP Admin Cache plugin by Grf Studio. I’ll check it out.

Could you point me in the direction of any popular WordPress stacks/hosts/plugins that do so or can do so? Would be very interested to learn more for my own CPD.
