    Hi, Pedro.

Yes, we’re sorry to have repeated that request. It was a misunderstanding.

Would you mind sharing a new report number with us to see what has changed since the file was deleted? (LiteSpeed Cache > Report , press <Send to LiteSpeed>, let us know the new number.)

    Thank you!

    Hi Dear,

I supposed that we did a mistake deleting the file and I went back to the previous plugin I had installed. So far so good.
Anyway if you think I can have advantages to return to your plugin, please tell me. Needless to say I am beginning this experience with plugins more oriented to performance and it is a bit difficult for me to understand some of the features and parameters to define.
    Many thanks and warm regards,
    Pedro

    Hello, Pedro

No, deleting the file was not a mistake. But there is probably another issue (aside from the advanced-cache.php file) that is causing the warning error, if it still has not gone away.

You can definitely have an advantage with the LiteSpeed plugin, but first we need to figure out why you are seeing that warning message. If you would like us to continue to troubleshoot this with you, our support team will need to take a closer look at your setup. If you create a ticket in our support system, we can clear this up more quickly. Send email to [email protected] to create the ticket. Include a link to this thread so that they can see everything that has happened so far.

I understand that you are new to some of the terminology, and also that language is a barrier to some extent. If you are willing, I think that if you create a ticket, we can troubleshoot this better, and have you up and running in no time!

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Hello again.

I have two things you can try, if you’d like to continue with this.

    1. Contact your hosting company and ask them to copy wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/includes/advanced-cache.php to wp-content/advanced-cache.php, OR
    2. Navigate to LiteSpeed Cache > Settings > Advanced, scroll down, and remove the check mark from the Check Advanced Cache setting.

Option #1 is preferred, but option #2 should also work, and it is easier for you to do yourself.

After you have done one of those things, the warning message should disappear, and everything should work as intended.

Please let us know if you continue to experience any issues!

    Hello again,

In this moment as I told, I went back to the previous plugin “w3 total cache” and as far as I know it is going well without warning nor errors and the performance of the blog stays at the same level.

If I change again to LiteSpeed, will there be any incompatibilities? or risks? Will Litespeed be a better option?

What is your vision on this?

    Thanks and regards,

    Pedro

    Hi, Pedro.

Changing back to LiteSpeed should not cause any problems.

Once we get this one warning message to go away, then everything should work nicely, and you will see the benefits.

If you’d like to give it a try, the best way to do it is to disable W3 Total Cache, enable LiteSpeed Cache, and then “uncheck” the Check Advanced Cache setting as I described in my earlier message.

After that, everything should work well!
