    Hi, @pedro-fidalgo

I think you misunderstood what @hailite meant by “report number.”

Here’s how to find your report number: Navigate to LiteSpeed Cache > Report, press the Send to LiteSpeed button, make note of the “Report Number”, and post the number here so we can look it up.

That will allow us to see your settings and determine whether there are any problems with your configuration.

As for that message that you originally asked about:

    WARNING
The functionalities here can not work due to:
LiteSpeed cache is disabled. How to fix it?

This message indicates that you need to turn on LiteSpeed Cache in the settings. Navigate to LiteSpeed Cache > Settings > General and set Enable LiteSpeed Cache to Enable. Your site is not being cached until you Enable that setting. Once you have done that, you will be able to use the cache-related functions, including Purge.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, please come back and let us know the Report Number as described above.

    Thanks!

    Hi Dears,

The “Enable” in the LiteSpeed Cache > Settings > General and set Enable LiteSpeed Cache, was already “enabled”.

So the report number is as follows:

    Report number: SGLGTBKQ

    Report date: 03/27/2018 20:09:07

    Sorry for the misunderstnding.

    Warm regards,

    Hello, again, Pedro.

Do you have access to your file system? Can you check the contents of the advanced-cache.php file, if so?

If the file contains code from a different cache plugin, it can cause problems. Have you previously used a different cache plugin?

    Hi Dears,

I have used W3 total cache, but not now .

I do not know where shall I access the file you mention “advanced-cache.php”.

What do you recommend? Can you help in this issue?

    Thanks again and warm regards,

    Pedro

The best way is to delete it. It is under wp-content. After you delete it, our plugin will generate ours.

    hi Hailite,

I do not know how to find this file nor “wp-content”. Can you do this delete for me?

    Warm regards,

    Hello, Pedro.

If you are unfamiliar with the WordPress file system, it’s probably better for you to ask your hosting provider to help you delete the file. They should know where it is, but if not, tell them that it can be found in the directory where your WordPress installation lives, under wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

Once they’ve taken care of that for you, the message should go away. Let us know if you still have any problems after that!

    Hello Dears,

I asked Stabehost to delete this advanced-cache.php file, I did try to discover it in their cPanel but without success, and will be most probably more securre to be done by them.

After the file is deleted, you can rebuilt the fie with your paramenters without any problem?

    Thanks and regards,

    Pedro

After they delete the file for you, the LSCache plugin will automatically create a new version of it. Once that happens, the warning message will go away, and everything will work normally.

    Happy Caching!

    They have already deleted.

Shall I do something now? Or just waiting for the “reinstallation”?

When you go into LiteSpeed Cache > Settings > General are you still seeing that warning?

If so, try setting Enable LiteSpeed Cache to Disable, and save the settings. Then, set it to Enable and save again.

    Did the warning go away?
