• Is there a widget I’m missing to enable comments after each blog posts? Do I need to find a plug in? I can use the widget to add previous comments to the sidebar but why is there no automatic comment section after each new post?? How do readers comment?

  • Hi there!

Make sure Settings -> Discussion -> Allow People to Post Comments on New Articles is checked.

On the post itself, make sure Discussion -> Allow Comments is checked.

(You might to go to screen options at the top to get it show up)

After that you should be able to see the option to add a comment at the end of a post.

    I hope that helps!

I love a lot of things about this theme, but the header image/site title/tagline display is NOT one of them. I want to have text in the title/tagline fields so that it displays in the browser window title as well as for SEO purposes, but I don’t want it to actually display in the header because it writes over top of the header image I want to use instead. I have used Jetpack’s Custom CSS editor to make some modifications that have gotten rid of the text, but now my header image is no longer responsive. I’ve tried a few CSS edits to try to make it responsive again, but so far nothing is working. I’m pretty much a CSS novice so most of what I’ve been doing is Googling solutions and then cutting/pasting code, so I admit that I have no clue why some of this CSS is working/not working as far as doing what I want it to. Does anyone have any advice? The site is https://2015.attendicec.org.

OK – I seem to have all the correct boxes marked, but still no comments. I have the same theme. Please help!
