Purchased Analyt. Tracker Pro, what to do next?

    Hi,

    I used google analytics as a plugin on my website since 2 mo. Now I purchased the pro version and got a file for download, which I did download. But now I am stuck, because I don′t know how to get it going, what do I need to do. Please explain for dummies.

  • Hello,

    you have to upload that zip file to your WordPress dashboard of your site.

    On your WordPress dashboard of your site click on “Plugins” – “Add new”. Above the list of plugins you will see “Upload plugin”. Upload the downloaded zip file from your computer without extracting files. Activate it.

    Hi Helena,

    thanks for your help and it did the installation as you suggested. But since I ordered the pro version on may 30th, I immediately lost access to my data
    and it keeps telling me the following
    “Google Analytics Service has reported that the analytics data is still not available.
    Once Google Analytics account is connected, usually it can take up to 24 hours to show the stats data.”
    Also the pro version looks weired in a semitranslated version (I am working in Germany on a german based wordpress system) and does not look promising. I thought I will get some more analytical capabilites, but I am completely confused and rather switch back to the standard version than loosing data for a certain time. Can you please give me practical advice, how to solve the issue? Thanks
