Purchase question: Is the new Lightbox the only option in 2.0 and newer?

  • I do not like that it takes exactly 8 seconds for the lightbox to come up when you click on a photo. until this is faster, do we have the option of using other lightboxes? I would assume so but I have pored over the entire website and don’t see anywhere that explains whether or not this is possible.

    @mstracylee – See Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … set this to “no lightbox” then if your other Lightbox Effects plugins is working correctly it should simply default to it.

    Is it safe to upgrade to 2.__ at this point? I’m nervous. I would definitely pay for pro as well, I just have a high amount of photos on my sites…

    but I guess what is pro IS the lightbox??

    SO maybe I would wait. I like the features of the lightbox, I just cant handle how long it takes to come up…
