I’ve used your Wholesale Suite for a website and it worked great, and I got great support.

I have a purchase question for another client considering buying the suite.

In this case, we have two websites, one for wholesale, and one for retail. Both have the same products. We are going to combine the two into one site and use the Wholesale suite. We also need to adjust all the prices, hopefully in bulk….as automated as possible.

My thought is to export both sets of products into a .csv file, and somehow combine the two and import back into the one site.

Woocommerce has a product CSV Import Suite, and has instructions as to merging products and Variations.

Will this work with the wholesale suite plugin? How would you go about doing this? Install wholesale suite first, create user tiers, add a couple of products using all the variations, then export so all the fields show? What steps would you take and in what order?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

  • Hi @wschaefer1,

    Thanks for contacting us!

If you have the same products for the retail and wholesale site, you can import the retail products first and activate the Wholesale Suite plugin.

Afterward, set up the wholesale role tiers, then add a couple of wholesale prices to your products, set up other settings like the minimum order requirement and etc. Then export the Product CSV, with custom meta key enabled, using WoooCommerce Import/Export Tool. It should generate our custom meta keys so you can bulk edit and add the wholesale prices from your wholesale shop.

It’s also okay to combine the two product CSV first, as long as you have a few products already set up with the Wholesale Suite so you can generate the correct custom meta keys in the CSV.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions!
