If you see strange Purchase events with almost no parameters, Meta might have a bug related to an option called Automatic events without code. They had it in the past, and it looks like they have it again. I expect they will fix it soon.

Make sure you have Automatic events without code turned OFF inside your Events Manager > Settings.

From my experience this bug can affects a very limited number of pixels.

I am just guessing here, since the information you provided is rather limited.

    Automatic events were turned OFF.

Maybe it is an issue on Facebook’s end.

Is it normal that the number of purchase events that appears in the event manager is double than the actual purchases?

For example I had 2 purchases happen and the event manager reports a total of 4 events, 2 from the browser and 2 from the server even though the deduplication ratio is 100%

Please update the plugin, version 9.3.8 has and issue with purchase fixed. I am not sure it’s the problem that you have, that might be related to a Meta bug, but it’s worth a trial.
