Pulling stats in text

    Hello!

    Thank you for creating this really useful plugin.

    Is it possible to pull stats for population infection rate and mortality rate by country and globally? So you can have these live numbers in the middle of a sentence.

    Hey Estelle,

    you could use our shortcodes as described in the plugin description, such as [covid-watch country="France" status="confirmed"], which will just render a number that you can use mid-sentence in your posts. In terms of “rates”, we don’t have those stats but they could be computed using the historical data; you’d likely need to do so in PHP code.
