Pulling a list from another database

    1. I am trying to figure out how to retrieve a list of site that I have done to show in a portfolio page but they are all on another server, and the list is constantly updated with new information. I don’t \want to move the database, or table over to the wordpress table because then i would have to update that table twice…

    Is there a way to connect to a different database and run the one needed query without breaking the existing wordpress connection? How would I do this?
