PubMed Feed Defaults to One After New Publication

I’ve been having an issue with the feed. I have it set to show 10 PubMed publications written by a specific author. It works great up until the author publishes a new article on PubMed; then feed only shows that one publication on the website and not 10 total. I then have to reestablish the feed to get it to show 10 again (copy the RSS xml link from PubMed and put it into the WordPress WP-RSSImport shortcode on the web page). Any thoughts?
