Are you trying to transfer your local site to a live site?

I’m trying to make my site live. I already created it in wordpress.

Did you create it locally?

I created it on my computer if that’s what you mean.

I followed the instructions on the migrating wordpress page and now I can’t access my local site and my site still isn’t showing up on the domain.

@abbys202010 – you’ll need to provide more details about what you’ve done and what is showing on your site.

I installed wordpress using Microsoft webmatrix. I followed the instructions on the migrating wordpress site and transferred the files using filezilla. When I use Microsoft webmatrix to open up my site it has this message:
The website cannot display the page

HTTP 500

Most likely causes:
?The website is under maintenance.
?The website has a programming error.

What you can try:

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.
