Is there any plugins that work similar to “PublishPress Future” which we use currently when we have event posts on our websites we use the above plugin to delete the posts after the event has passed but the set date is not broadcasting to the child items and is just going to the default value

PublishPress Future is the renamed Post Expirator plugin, which I have an add-on for.

In January this year a user tested Future together with the above add-on and reported that the child posts received the same expiration date as the parent post, but that the posts were not being deleted. I tested it locally and it worked for me, so I can’t say what was wrong.

I might have to change the add-on’s name.

At any rate, you can try Future with the above add-on, or keep looking for another plugin, perhaps one that is not bloated.

That is working perfectly now with the 3rd party pack, thank you for your help

Great. I’ll rename the add-on to reflect the new plugin name.

Tested with version 4.0.4 of Future.
