    Hello,

I have Elementor installed and PublishPress, I have observed that when I want to edit with Elementor a post, when the custom PublishPress states are enabled, Elementor fails and does not load the edition, if I leave disabled the custom PublishPress statuses if it allows editing with Elementor a post.
I disabled all other plugins except those two to check.

What could it be due to?

    Thank you.

Edit: They work together again, it must have been temporary failure, but I don’t know the reason.

    Regards ??

    It happened again.

Maybe it’s something like this, but with Elementor and PublishPress?

Ok, checking, apparently when disabled the states of PublishPress, load url as

    ?p=1047&elementor-preview=1047&ver=1575462901

and if the PublishPress statuses are enabled as:

    ?p=1047&preview=true&preview_id=1047

and hence the black screen with the message “the view could not be loaded”

But I don’t know why it happens only in the posts, in the pages they work well together

Hi @chadri. Thanks for the feedback. Elementor has always been difficult to work with – that plugin likes to control the publishing experience completely. All open a ticket with our team and see if a workaround is possible.

Thank you very much @stevejburge, very kind of you.

Generally I have only used it in layout of some pages, in post it is the first time for something very punctual, I usually prefer the normal editor.

    Regards.

I do not know if there was any change in the PublishPress plugin or it was when changing in WordPress settings “allow the user to change from classic editor to blocks and vice versa” if the Classic Editor plugin is installed, but the error no longer appears in Elementor with active PublishPress.
