We have used PP for a while with no problems. But we recently migrated to a new server, and since then posts don’t publish as scheduled unless they are updated after their scheduled publish time.

In the posts lists, the posts that should have been published have a red “Missed schedule” notice in the Date column, but no information about why the schedule was missed. If you update the post without making any actual changes it is immediately published.

The server setup should be identical to what we migrated away from. I have tried deactivating and deleting the plugin, and then re-installing it. I received no error messages or warnings when the plugin was reinstalled.

I have activated the Debug mode, but nothing is added to the log.

Update: One more thing–if I deactivate the PP plugin and schedule a post to publish in the future, it does not publish unless updated after its scheduled post time. So perhaps this is a more general problem with cron than with the PP plugin itself.

    Hi @bhammondcvl

I think your guess was correct. We haven’t had a similar issue reported before, also as you said the issue started arising after the migration, and even the schedule also missed with default WordPress scheduling.

Try confirm with your server administrator if the cron is working fine. You can also install a plugin to track your cron list that existed on your site.

    Hope that helps.

You’re correct: this was not related to the plugin at all, but rather wp-cron had been deactivated for the migration, and not been turned back on.

Thanks for the quick reply, and sorry for the bother.
