Publishing Images to Social Media sites

Yes with facebook the featured image will be posted. When it comes to tumblr, featured image won’t be posted.

Please edit your facebook account under MicroblogPoster and choose ‘Share a Link’ instead of ‘Text’.
‘Text’ is only for simple text status updates.

Is there any opportunity in the Pro Addon to be able to edit the final “look” in Facebook? Or can this be achieved in anyway with the short code options?

I’m sorry my english isn’t so good. I don’t understand clearly what you’re asking. Basically the pro add-on provides the possibility to auto publish to facebook pages and groups but without any additional capabilities.
What ever you can do by posting to facebook profile you’ll be able to do posting to facebook page.
