Publishing does not work

With Nelio Content, you need to define the social messages you want our plugin to share when the post is published. If you haven’t created any, then it’s completely normal that publishing a post doesn’t share anything on social media.

Creating this messages is extremely easy. Once you’re done with your post, look for the Social Media box in the edit screen and click on the Create Social Messages Automatically button.

The “reschedueling” thing etc. does not work as well.

That’s normal too. This feature is only available to subscribers. Free users can only share social messages upon post’s publication.

Are you implying that it is at least a two step process to publish each post to social media? I’m noticing that the Social Media box states “Save post to access social media timeline”.

Is there a way to have the free plugin automatically post to a social network like when the post is published?

Yes, that’s how the current version of Nelio Content works. You need to create the post and then click on the button to generate the social messages that will be shared when the post is published and afterwards.

Correct. Once you save the post, you’ll have access to the button for generating social messages automatically.

Well, that’s what the plugin does… but you have to create the messages first (when writing the post, for instance).
