publishing content hook

Hi,

I have several different post types to give credit for posting. I set the limit to 2 posts per day for news post, 2 posts per day for event post and 1 post per day for garage sale post, so the user should be able to make 5 posts (to 3 different post types). It seems like as soon as 2 post were published, that is all the points they got. I guess my question is, is the limit cumulative for all post types?
