I created a page, that works. I want it to be the parent of the ones I need…
so after I did that one, I then created a page, just put a title, named the page and then put one word on it, then published it. when I go to it, the page does not work, it says, “No posts found / Showing random posts”

but this is a Page, published. so I made 2 others, this time, I named them different, in case it was the name.

any idea what would cause that? The first one works, but the others do not.

    Hi @ukndoit !

You just need to go to your permalinks section and hit update, that will reset, and re-create the permalinks
    1) Go to settings
    2)Permalinks
    3) Hit Update.

If you want to know more about permalinks and how they work, you will not find a better page than this one ??
    Voila!

I did that, and it did not work. ??

I updated the page that had the /mailers as the parent page and the /mailers page works, but the child page did not work, when I made it NO Parent, then it worked, when I put it back on the /mailers as the parent, it does not work again. So seems like it is only when there is a parent page, not just any page. ??

    any other idea?

wow, this is very odd. I made a random new page:

    /trusted-times
    then added another random page:
    /trusted-times/days-of-old

    and that worked.

so I went to the one that did not work, and updated the parent to the /trusted-times
    and it works.

So does wordpress just not like the /mailers since it has /mail in the path?

    is that possible?

    very odd.
