Are you aware about menu in wordpress?
Go to your dashboard >> Themes >> Menu
Here you will find automatically add new pages to menu when created, make this checkbox checked.

Hi can’t believe I forgot that existed, just checked the box and it now works. Thanks heaps for your help it was driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

I don’t see this box.

I’m using the New Vision Theme theme ;=) and it’s not there.

I have not upgraded to WordPress version 4.8 because I haven’t been able to back up my site and my webhost says that Site Back Up Pro is down. Hate to upgrade without a recent complete back up.
