Published Date Problem

Hey Author team. About a year ago I posted about the displayed published date and how it wasn’t accurate on Author’s sister theme Founder. The “Published on” date displayed in the post editor is not the same as the date displayed on the actual blog post. It appears that this issue is also present in Author. Is there any chance we can get this fix that was in Founder applied to Author?
