I’m using WP Globus Plus to be able to set languages as drafts that are not visible to the user or published ones that are. But after hearing from a couple of people on the WP Globus plugin team, things aren’t so clear.

    1) I did these steps because I thought it was necessary to use the Publish/Draft option. But is doing these steps on this page necessary or was I just supposed to go to the “Edit Pages” and choose publish there? I want to be able to set any of my three languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish) as drafts or published pages. Did doing these steps prevent me from setting English as a draft sometimes?

    2) I’m using Elementor with my theme, and I was told that WP Globus isn’t compatible with Elementor, yet I do see options to switch to and edit language pages in the backend. However, when I want to publish a Vietnamese language page, Vietnamese being one of the languages I made a draft through the settings page, now it no longer works and isn’t visible in the frontend. How can I publish the draft languages with Elementor or through these “Edit Pages”? There seems to be no option because my Edit Pages don’t look like the example given.

    1) On the Publish tab you can set draft status for extra languages. If you need to do this for default language, then you should open post edit page and set status in Publish metabox.

    2) You can open post edit page in classic editor, find Publish metabox and set status for any language.

As you can hopefully see by the screenshots I attached, whether I go to “Edit Page” or “Edit with Elementor,” I don’t see the same Publish metabox in the example given. Is the classic editor, which does not seem to be available with my theme or version of WordPress, the only way to use that Publish metabox?

Using Block Editor you can click Settings icon (top right side), then select Post tab and open WPGlobus component.

Here’s a screenshot of where you directed me to. I clicked on the gear icon and went down to where it says WP Globus, but the only thing there is the option to add different slugs for the Vietnamese and Spanish pages. I don’t see any Publish/Draft options. I can provide you admin access to see for yourself. Are you sure those options are available in the Block Editor?

    Yes.
Try open page with Block Editor only, without Elementor.

I think you can see from the last screenshot I showed you that I opened it in the Block Editor, not Elementor. Is there a way for me to send you admin access privately if you’re willing to go one step further with your assistance?

You can submit support ticket using Help Desk tab of WPGlobus Options page.

I’ve sent a message to them before with no response. Hopefully, it’s different this time.
