• Greetings, I do not speak English but I try. My case is the following.

    – I have a podcast, said podcast has a wordpress website where my followers can listen to my regular episodes (in addition to Spotify, etc).
    – I have a page on Patreon, with episodes from my podcast, but these episodes are exclusive for patrons, with various price ranges.

    The integration with WordPress catches my attention, but when it comes to audio, I have a couple of questions:

    – If X exclusive episode for patrons is located on my patreon page, is it possible to publish said episode (and its audio) on my wordpress site, to be listened to by my patrons?
    – With this plugin I could publish my exclusive episodes for patrons “from patreon” to my wordpress website and that my patrons can listen to these exclusive episodes from my wordpress website and not necessarily from my patreon page? (obviously logging in with your patreon account?

    Thanks in advance for the answer and I regret not mastering the language, I hope you have been able to understand me.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    If you lock the access to the podcast episode in your WP site, yes. Currently locking podcast files directly is not supported (image files are), so you cant directly protect the file itself. But you can gate access to podcast player.

    OK thank you. I have installed the plugin without problems, but when trying to make the connection with my Patreon account I get the following error…

    {“errors”:[{“code”:3,”code_name”:”ParameterInvalid”,”detail”:”Invalid parameter for ‘oauth_client_id’: 7800.”,”id”:”5d814320-7ad4-416f-9749-612c832534e8″,”source”:{“parameter”:”oauth_client_id”},”status”:”400″,”title”:”Invalid value for parameter ‘oauth_client_id’.”}]}

    This means that you have already connected a site to Patreon via the setup wizard before, or an app for this site already exists.

    https://www.patreon.com/portal/registration/register-clients

    You can check the existing apps in the above page. If you have connected a WP site to Patreon via the setup wizard before, then you will need to manually create an app and copy/paste its details to Patreon Settings’ menu’s Connection section.

    If there is an app for a WP site which you arent using, you can just delete it and connect via the setup wizard.
