I have noticed with the newest version of WordPress installed that the publish immediately option is now gone and I have to manually change the date and time if I want it to go out immediately. I am not sure if I did something wrong or how to correct this. Also, I used to be able to schedule a post and it went off without any issues now they all fail when being scheduled. I would appreciate any insight or help to correct these 2 problems. Thank you!

Check Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard. Does the date and time look correct?

If not, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider’s support, as the server’s clock has been set incorrectly.

The date and time look fine with no issues. Like I mentioned when someone creates a story in the past it would save as Publish Immediately. Now it has the current date and time it was saved instead.

Also, the schedule posting feature works as far as setting it up but it does not work when the time rolls around. The previous build of WordPress worked fine for both of these areas.

Ok, this may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Does anyone have any other advice or suggestions? I have tried what you said above and it made no differences.

I have the same problem. Someone else commented on a different thread that they had disabled the Gutenberg plugin and this seemed to have worked (though quite some time ago). I’m not quite keen to disable the Gutenberg plugin.

I think there is a bug somewhere and it would be wonderful if WP team could look into it, please?
    Thank you!
