Publish button is gone

  • My Publish button is gone! The Schedule button is still there but scheduled posts aren’t posting (even after installing the missed scheduled posts plugin).

    I deactivated all plugins and that didn’t help. I also tried the trick of toggling from 1 to 2 columns on the edit page, no difference. I’m not very tech savvy so I don’t know what the heck else to try!

    I’m on 4.1.1 if that makes a difference.

    Also, with ALL plugins OFF, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Just turned all the plugins off then switched to 2015 theme, didn’t seem to make a difference unfortunately. I still just get the “schedule” button and no “publish” button ??
