Publicize toggle buttons disabled, components-disabled

    When trying to use Publicize to share a post to Facebook and Twitter inside the admin dashboard, the toggle buttons for Facebook and Twitter are disabled with the following HTML:

    <div class=”components-disabled“><span class=”components-form-toggle jetpack-publicize-connection-toggle”><input class=”components-form-toggle__input” id=”connection-facebook-24642266″ type=”checkbox” disabled=””>

    This happens despite deactivating and reactivating plugin, disconnecting, and reconnecting social media accounts. I’m using an administrator role.

    Hi there,

    Can you tell us your site’s URL?

    I assume you’re seeing this HTML in the browser inspector, correct? Are you using the block editor or a classic editor plugin?

    If the block editor, are you trying to enable publicize on the post by clicking the Jetpack icon at the top, or during the pre-publish check that appears when you first click the Publish button?
