• Weaver theme and it’s been working through last week. The publicize was working fine and went to a FB page (with image fine) and to Twitter. My last post on 9 Jan published perfectly.

between then and last night I remember two plugins updating but don’t remember which ones.

Last night I scheduled the post to publish. It published to my blog but it did not publish to my FB page but it did publish to my twitter feed.

I put this url from my last article into the debug and it says the OG image is to small at 200px
    https://jeff-foliage.com/2014/01/first-day-autumn-far/
It shows up perfectly both last week when it published and today when I put it in my Facebook page it renders a thumbnail perfectly.

I put last nights url from last night into the debuger
    https://jeff-foliage.com/2014/01/moss-glen-falls-easy-waterfall/

It does not show the image (the usual OG image too small error which crops up all the time is given)

The size error is incorrect as a cause for this problem. NOT being a coder hampers finding a solution…
    I await your thoughts..
I know the biggest problem is the mish-mash of plugins that are causing these issues and JetPack is a partial solution.
I had minify installed but not activated over the past month
I have no caching because I was getting inconsistant results with my page showing up.
So the FAQs don’t seem to address this problem..

    Questions?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I had a look at your site, and your Jetpack connection seems to be set up properly. Publicize is also connected properly.

You’re currently using 2 different plugins (or maybe one plugin and a function within your theme) to display Open Graph meta tags on your site.
One of these plugins outputs a correct set of tags, with the right Open Graph meta tag:
    https://i.wpne.ws/TMLw
The other plugin outputs only one image meta tag:
    https://i.wpne.ws/TLzl
The problem is, the URL mentioned there is not an image file but a link to an attachment page:
    https://jeff-foliage.com/2013/03/the-wonderful-hidden-gems-of-new-england/weathered-vermont-barn/

That’s why Faceobok’s Debugger returns an error for that particular image tag, and that could also cause Facebook to reject your Publicized posts. Such Open Graph warnings were not too important in the past but Facebook recently started rejecting posts with such problems.

Could you try to remove that extra Image tag and let me know if it helps?
