The first time it happened was six hours ago. It shared normally with Facebook. I tried to reconnected LinkedIn with Jetpack Social, but to no avail.

The message when posting was the usual: “Post published and sharing on Facebook (username here), LinkedIn (username here).?View post”

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out with the issue concerning Publicize and LinkedIn. If the sharing worked correctly with Facebook but not with LinkedIn, there might be an issue with the connection between Jetpack and your LinkedIn account.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. First, please make sure that you have the latest version of Jetpack installed.
    2. If you haven’t already, please disconnect and reconnect your LinkedIn account to Jetpack Social. Here’s a guide on how to do this: Connecting to social networks.
    3. Ensure that your LinkedIn page is set up correctly and that there are no restrictions that could be blocking the sharing process.
    4. Check your LinkedIn account to make sure that Jetpack hasn’t been accidentally removed or doesn’t have the necessary permissions.
    5. If you have already tried reconnecting and it hasn’t worked, please attempt to clear your browser cache and cookies, and then try again.

It would be helpful to know if there are any specific error messages you are seeing when attempting to reconnect with LinkedIn, or if the issue persists without any detailed message.

If the above steps do not solve the issue, could you please provide more details? Especially:

    • Have you made any recent changes to your website or its configuration?
    • Are there any other plugins that could be interfering with Jetpack’s Publicize feature?
    • Have you noticed any other connectivity issues with your website or within your WordPress dashboard?

I’ll be looking out for your reply in this thread with more details or to confirm that the issue has been resolved.

    Thank you!

Thanks for replying @bruceallen. This issue was resolved by itself, a few days later. However, I appreciate your answer.

I had not made any changes to the setup, although I do have most plugins on auto-update so I can not for sure know if there was a temporary conflict. However, each time I published during this time, all looked good in the devtools console.

This is not the first time it happens, but maybe it has to do with the changes with the LinkedIn API.
