Publicize Sharing and Email Subscriptions ERROR.

    Hello There!

    I installed Jetpack 2.2 recently and was really happy with the variety of options it provides.
    So far I have activated the facebook like widget in my sidebar and the social media share buttons for my posts. They all work fine with no errors whatsoever.

    However, I am having trouble with Publicize and Email Subscriptions.

    1. Publicize
    I have successfully connected Publicize to my facebook page and twitter account.
    When I compose a new post, the facebook and twitter boxes are checked and I publish my posts immediately.
    Post is publised and nothing happens on either social media.
    When I go back into the post the boxes are still checked (not unchecked like some errors in this blog have reported)
    My facebook profile is admin of the page. I have tried disconnecting publicize and reconnecting on both ends, website and facebook.
    Still no success.

    2. Subscriptions.
    I have subscribed my personal email to the subscriptions to see if it works and received a confirmation email that I am subscribed to my blog.
    Any post I published since has not notified me in an email.
    I went into the confirmation email and clicked on manage subscriptions, I had to login to my wordpress account and got forwarded to a page that said I wasn’t subscribed to any blogs.
    I have then again searched for my blog in wordpress and am now apparently subscribed to it.
    But still no emails hit my inbox.

    I dont know if there is a connection between these two errors. Maybe my posts are not formatted correctly somewhere. Please help, I would love to make all of these functions work.

    Two other plugins used, that I already tried deactivating. Google Analytics and NextGEN Gallery. No improvement there either.

    Could you walk me through the steps you followed to publish your posts?

    I also subscribed to your blog, and I will let you know as soon as I receive a notification email about a new post on your site.

    I add a new post by composing the text in a word document. Then I log into wordpress and “add new post”
    Then I paste the content into the text box and add the heading and fact number to it.
    The main text always includes a “view more tag” after the first paragraph where the fact ends and the explaining article starts.
    Afterwards I tick at least two categories of where to file the fact under.
    I check in the publicize settings for the sharing on the right:
    Publicize: Facebook: Underwater Facts, Twitter: @UnderwaterFacts Edit Settings
    It seems to be connected and boxes are ticked.
    I do not add tags to the post mainly because that makes the home page unaestetical.
    I also rarely use links in my posts or images.
    Aaaaand: PUBLISH

    I am going to just quickly publish a test message for you, I really want to get it fixed so people CAN subscribe.

    Something just fixed itself.
    Maybe it took some time. Ill let you know how Im going in the future.
