Publicize Not Working for Scheduled Posts

Do you use a plugin like WP Missed Schedule on your site? While Publicize does work with scheduled posts, it won’t work when the posts are published by this plugin.

If you do not use such plugin, could you post your site URL here so I can check your Jetpack settings?

Hi Jeremy,

I do not use any special plug in to schedule posts. In the Dashboard when writing a post, I click on “Publish Immediately – Edit” in the upper right hand corner of the Post Editor & pick a date to schedule, before posting. I’ve tried to schedule my last 4 posts & Publicize hasn’t pushed any of them out to my social networks.

Could you start writing a new post, and check the Publicize box in the right side, just above the Publish button? Is Publicize turned on by default?

Yes, Publicize is turned on by default, and is set to send to Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In.

Could you give me a few examples of posts that did not get publicized to Facebook so I can check our logs?

I’d have one more question! Are there any other registered users on your site? Is it possible that Jetpack was originally connected to WordPress.com using a different account on your site?

If so, could you try to go to Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnect then reconnect to WordPress.com with the account you use to schedule these posts?

No, there are no other registered users on my site. I have always been the only publisher and regular user.

Could you go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, and let me know if the connections are marked as Shared or not?

Could you also try to switch from shared to non-shared, or vice-versa, and let me know if it changes anything?

All 3 connections – Facebook, Twitter, & Linked In – are all marked “shared.” In the past when I have encountered this problem, the only fix that has been suggested has been to disconnect & then reconnect each network connection, which only fixed the problem for the very next post.

I’m in the midst of a post right now that I will schedule to post later tonight, just to ensure the problem still persists.

Is this issue solved. I’m having the exact same problem. Exact steps taken as drubarlow. Sp please let me know if this has been solved.
