• Hi,
I updated yesterday to the newest version of Jetpack and publicize stopped working correctly after update.
Despite what I put in the publicize details field on the post editor side, the plugin only displays the post title and twitter card for Twitter, and the excerpt from the post and twitter card for Facebook, even though there are the same settings for both.
    Here is the example:

As to Facebook I’m not sure how to link to the same post.

    I would appreciate your help.

    thank you

Could you try to update to the most recent version of Jetpack (4.2.2), and let me know if it helps?

Thank you for your reply. I just did but now I have to wait til tomorrow to see if the new posts will publicize the right way. I’ll update you then.

    thank you

    Hi Jeremy,

Unfortunately Publicize still doesn’t work the right way after the last update. It works right only if the publicize detail field has been filled out after the update, but if it was a post that was already scheduled and the publicize details were filled out before the update, it shows only title in Twitter and only excerpt in Facebook.
I would really appreciate the fix for this issue as I do have hundreds of scheduled posts that were done before the update.

    thank you

Could you contact us via this contact form, and mention this thread? I think it would be helpful if we can run some tests with some of the posts you scheduled before the update, and see how these posts are currently synchronised with WordPress.com.

    Thanks!
