I have a multi-user site and we use Publicize to post articles to social media. The account we have are
    Twitter
    Facebook
    Google+
    Tumblr

All accounts are share with all users, however for the past week Publicize is not working of anyone, including account owner. Checkboxes appear to be checked but when the article is published they are all unchecked and nothing goes to social media.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Can you try reseting your Publicize connections and see if that fixes the problem? Please follow the steps for each social network on each page for this process.

NOTE: Please ensure you follow the step (if indicated) to delete the app association on each social network to fully disable the existing application token prior to reconnecting from your Dashboard.

Here are the steps for each social network:

    Facebook: https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/facebook/#reconnecting-facebook
    Twitter: https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/twitter/#reconnecting-twitter
Google+: https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/google/ (scroll down to the reconnecting section)
    Tumblr: https://jetpack.me/support/publicize/tumblr/#reconnecting-tumblr

Let us know if you still have this problem after re-establishing the connection token and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

It’s now working after I deactivated the following plugins:

WPFront User Role Editor – Jetpack now works only for Administrators, Editors and Authors. Any plans to change this back to being available for all roles and custom roles?

iThemes Security – Found on the known issues page. Weirdly it was working fine with Jetpack up until about a week ago. Any tips on configuring this plugin?

Publicize works for Administrator, Editor, or Author user roles. We will consider your feedback for adding additional roles in future updates to the plugin.

iThemes Security has a page on how to configure it here:

XML-RPC – This file can allow access to your site. If nothing on your site uses it, disable it. If you use Jetpack or the WordPress Mobile app, set it to Disable Pingbacks.
