Publicize, no image on Facebook post, too much text on Tumblr post

    Hi,

    Had to disable the Facebook and Tumblr on the publicize.

    No image is being posted to Facebook, I have photon enabled.

    Tumblr – way too much text, isn’t there a way to choose just to post 1 image and excerpt?

    Hope this will be fixed as it’s a great feature. And yeah.. Facebook image was working fine a couple weeks back.

    I just had a look through your Publicize logs and could see that the past two posts of your didn’t get fetched properly by Facebook, the issue could lie in the minifying engine of your Autooptimize plugin, unfortunately it’s known to conflict with Jetpack. Could you please try disabling that plugin and then clear any cache.

    I wasn’t able to find any logs pointing to your tumblr page, could you please share that here so that I can take a look?

    Hey thanks for your reply!
    I can’t disable the Autoptimise plugin, the speed it increases is too good to disable. I will make sure to clear it’s cache just before making a new post, which is what I did today. Facebook post worked fine again. However Tumblr didn’t post at all.

    But no worries, Facebook was the important feature. Thanks for looking into it, hopefully clearing the cache will mean it can work.

    Hi there, no worries at all. I’m glad to hear that it’s worked for your Facebok connection. You could try one thing to to get your Tumblr account working:

    1) Log into your site. Go to your dashboard -> Settings -> Sharing and click the X next to the link to the Tumblr page you wish to disconnect.
    2) Reload the page and confirm the link now says Create new Tumblr connection, but don’t click that link yet.
    3) Log into your Tumblr account. Then go to your Tumblr Account > Settings > Apps page by clicking this App Settings link.
    4) Remove the WordPress app by clicking the X in its row. (If there is no WordPress row, don’t worry, just skip this step). If you see a popup asking for confirmation, click the “Remove” button.
    5) Log back into your site. Go to your dashboard -> Settings -> Sharing and follow these steps to reconnect.

    I have almost the same problem. Jetpack stoped public my news in Facebook with pictures. All other social networks work fine and all post there have pictures. But when it comes to Facebook the post contain only a fragment of the text and no picture.
    I disconnected and connected again but it still doesn’t work.
    I don’t know what else to do and desperately need your help.
